Sims homes could be burgled, or they could even be abducted by aliens and this element of unpredictability added a lot of fun to the games. The older Sims game had a variety of scripted and random events that made the game both more realistic and also much more interesting. Gamers were incredibly disappointed with the new packs and can only hope that EA takes note when creating The Sims 5. This is also clear in the lack of resort building in The Sims Four: Island Paradise which was previously featured in The Sims 3 equivalents, and the lack of apartment building which was once available in the older versions of t he City Living expansion. Now players of The Sims 4 need to purchase three separate packs to get witches and werewolves, fables that were once available in one pack along with more. When doing so the lack f content in The Sims 4 packs become prominent.įor example, The Sims 3: Supernatural contained fairies, witches, werewolves, vampires and even zombie. This becomes clear when comparing the packs form The Sim 3 and 4. Previously in games like The Sims 2 and 3, packs would be full of new and exciting, worlds, lots, content and items, however, The Sims 4 pack really were a let-down in this sense. Another part of the fourth Sims game that players found disappointing, was the expansion packs, stuff packs and sets.
